Version 1: A Simple Craft for the Whole Class
Every student receives the same five All About Me dumplings: Self-portrait, favorite color, favorite food, favorite ice cream, and favorite book
Students complete, color, cut, and glue the five dumplings into their baskets.
Version 2: Students Choose Their Own Dumplings
Students choose from 75+ different dumpling designs, with each dumpling featuring a different activity, interest, food, animal, sport, hobby, school item, or favorite thing.
Print the dumplings six to a page and cut them into individual squares. Place the choices in baskets, trays, or around a table so students can select the dumplings that best represent them. Students then color, cut, and glue their chosen dumplings into the basket craft. A self-portrait dumpling can also be provided to every student, although it is optional.
