CVC Short U Interactive Notebook

Interactive Notebooks are a fun way for your kindergarteners to learn CVC words and create a record of their learning!

Each short vowel includes 7 pages that glue onto 4 pages in your notebook:

• Read the words and color the pictures. Lift the flap and add more.
• Say the sounds in the word. Lift the flap write the letters for the sound.
• Read the word. Lift the flap and glue the picture underneath.
• Glue the base piece into the notebook. Pick 3 pictures and glue them into the squares. Write the words for those pictures on the lines.
• Circle or color the words that have the sound.
• Sort the picture by if they have the sound or not. Lift the flap and glue them underneath.
