A simple handout to help your students practice their reading and writing skills. You will find three worksheets based on the book
- The first worksheet helps children practice their reading and writing skills. They are required to pick the right words from the word bank to answer the question. This is a good sheet for students who need practice, but require something fairly simple .
- The second worksheet is a reading comprehension page. First the children read the story and color the hearts. If you wish you could ask them to read the story three times, for fluency, and color in each heart as they finish. Students then have to match the story with a picture and answer two short questions.
- The third worksheet is an open-ended activity. It provides the opportunity for students to draw their own picture about Valentines Day and write a sentence to describe their pictures.
