St. Patrick’s Day Silly Sentence Phonics Center
Make sentence building hands-on, engaging, and just the right amount of silly this March.
This St. Patrick’s Day Silly Sentences center helps students practice reading, building, and writing simple sentences using themed picture and word cards. Students combine a subject, verb, and prepositional phrase to create fun seasonal sentences like “The leprechaun ran fast in the pot.”
This set include the sentence mats, numbers or color coded cards for the subject, verb, and additional prepositional phrase, lot of recording printables, and cut and glue worksheets they can do without the center.
The word cards are mostly CVC words. We did include word that match the them (like Leprechaun or pot of gold) but those are very picture heavy for your students. You will also find a few blends mixed in (like only a handful).
Perfect for literacy centers, small groups, morning tubs, or independent practice.
