Alphabet Spinners

Make alphabet sound practice hands-on and engaging with these Alphabet Spinners! Students will color, cut, and attach each spinner with a brad, then rotate it to name the pictures and identify the target sound. Both color and black-and-white versions are included.

This Science of Reading-aligned resource uses kindergarten-friendly decodable words. Consonant spinners focus on initial sounds, while vowels include two sets: an initial-sound set for sound recognition and a medial-sound set with decodable words. These spinners are perfect for phonics lessons, literacy centers, small groups, intervention, morning work, or take-home practice.
